Two more torture chambers have been discovered in the Kharkiv region, where russian invaders used to keep Ukrainians during the occupation. Twenty-seven torture chambers were found in total, Head of Criminal Investigations Division of the Main Department of the National Police of Ukraine in the Kharkiv region Serhii Bolvinov was cited as saying by ukrinform.net.
“We examined each place, where our citizens had been kept, and thoroughly gathered the investigative data so as not to lose any evidence,” Bolvinov said.
In his words, Ukraine’s swift counteroffensive in the Kharkiv region forced russians to retreat hastily, leaving their records behind, including sensitive data.
