In a joint letter signed by the president of the National Olympic Committee of Ukraine, Vadym Gutzait, acting minister of Youth and Sports of Ukraine, Matviy Bidnyi, and the president of the Ukrainian Wrestling Association, Yuriy Kopytko, noted that among the russian and Belarusian athletes who have obtained Olympic licenses for the Paris 2024 Games, there are those who support the war in Ukraine.

In particular, we are talking about Vanessa Kaladzinskaya, Zaurbek Sidakov, Zavur Uguev, Milad Alirzaev, Sergey Semenov, Nadezhda Sokolova, Alina Kasabieva, Khanum Velieva, Natalia Malysheva and Arthur Naifonov.

The heads of Ukrainian sports institutions call on international partners to take measures to comply with the recommendations of the International Olympic Committee regarding the neutral status of athletes from the russian Federation and Belarus and to prevent the aforementioned persons from participating in international competitions.
