There may be 50,000 civilians killed in the city of Maripol, which is much greater than the 22,000 dead, number based on the current official data. It is according to the article published on theguardian.com citing their source from the coordinating burials in the city.

As reported earlier, an adviser to the Ukrainian mayor Petro Andryushchenko estimated that russians killed 22,000 residents of the port city.

“However, a person among several coordinating burials in the city who spoke on condition of anonymity said they believed the total was closer to 50,000”, the article says.

It is noted that one Ukrainian Telegram group for those who have lost relatives or friends in Mariupol has over 26,000 members. These are the people who want to ensure that their loved ones who died during the russian assault on Mariupol are given a proper burial.

As reported, russians began destroying evidence of war crimes in Mariupol. They demolish the destroyed houses without dismantling the rubble and removing the bodies. The number of dead cannot be obtained due to the fact that after the demolition everything is taken to the landfill.
