The russian occupiers began to demolish the destroyed houses in the temporarily occupied Mariupol, without dismantling the rubble and removing the bodies of the dead, the adviser to the mayor of Mariupol Petro Andryushchenko said in a statement.

“Yesterday, after the publication of data on the bodies of those killed under the rubble, the occupiers began the direct demolition of houses without dismantling the rubble or searching for the dead in the ruined houses”, Andryushchenko said.

The number of dead cannot be obtained due to the fact that after the demolition everything is taken to the landfill. “If corpses remained in the buildings, they were unloaded together with garbage at the landfill. Inhumane treatment of even the dead has gained unprecedented momentum,” Andryushchenko added.
