Since the beginning of the full-scale aggression of the russian Federation, 68 criminal proceedings have been initiated against representatives of the russian Orthodox Church in Ukraine, of which 14 are metropolitans [bishops – UT] of the church, the Security Service of Ukraine [SBU] said in a statement.

Among the exposed crimes are 20 facts of treason, collaborationism, and aiding and abetting the aggressor country.

In addition, law enforcement officers are investigating 18 cases of public agitation to incite religious hatred, as well as the sale of firearms and the distribution of child pornography.

According to the SBU, as a result of operational and investigative actions, 26 involved representatives of the russian church were notified of suspicion, and another 19 perpetrators have already received court sentences.

Thanks to this, it was possible to exchange two convicted clerics-collaborators for Ukrainian soldiers who were held captive by the ruscists.
