In the Kherson region, the occupiers threaten those who refuse to take a russian passport with physical violence, the Center for National Resistance reported.

“The pace of issuing russian passports is too low, and the occupation administrations receive systematic reprimands from the kremlin curators. Therefore, in settlements in the temporarily occupied areas of the Kherson region, the russians abuse the civilian population. They threaten with a “pit” for refusing a passport. “Repeatedly, the occupiers carried out demonstration punishments, they place a sack over a head and throw people into the trenches,” according to the statement.

In order to put pressure on people, the russians use the torture chamber in Heniches’k. There, citizens with pro-Ukrainian views, as well as those who do not want to comply with the demands of the local occupying so-called authorities, are brutally tortured.

“In this way, terrorists force the population to get a passport in order to avoid persecution. Despite this, residents continue to resist and refuse the russian piece of paper,” the Center for National Resistance said.
