The Ministry of Foreign Affairs has summoned the Chinese Ambassador to Ukraine, Ma Shengkun, due to the revealed facts of the participation of Chinese citizens in the war on the side of the russian Federation, and the involvement of Chinese companies in the production of weapons on the territory of russia, the press service of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine said in a statement.
Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs Yevhen Perebyinis emphasized to the Chinese Ambassador that the facts of the participation of Chinese citizens in hostilities against Ukraine on the side of the aggressor state, as well as the involvement of Chinese companies in the production of military products in russia, are of serious concern and contradict the spirit of partnership between Ukraine and China.Evidence of such facts was transferred by Ukrainian special services to the Chinese side.The Ministry of Foreign Affairs called on China to take measures to stop supporting russia in its aggression against Ukraine, the absence of which Beijing has repeatedly stated.
