China has become the decisive enabler of russia’s war effort by being the most important supplier of russia’s war industrial machine, John Kelley, US Acting Representative to the UN, said in a statement.
“Specifically, China has provided russia with significant quantities of machine tools, microelectronics, optics, UAV and cruise missile technology, and nitrocellulose, which russia uses to make propellant for weapons. Last week, we called on all UN Member States to help bring the war to an end by ceasing any and all support to russia’s war efforts. We do so again today,” Kelley said.
According to him, North Korea has also supplied ammunition, missiles, military equipment, and approximately 12,000 troops to russia. “Such transfers and russian training of DPRK troops violate multiple Council resolutions and endanger peace and security in Europe and on the Korean peninsula,” he added.
