The russian Red Cross stole property from the Ukrainian offices in occupied Crimea. This was reported by ombudsman Dmytro Lubinets.

“The russian Red Cross stole the property of the Ukrainian Red Cross with the tacit consent of the International Federation. The Ukrainian Society of the Red Cross owned 10 premises on the territory of Crimea, with a total area of 641 square meters, as well as 6 cars and office equipment for the work of the staff. All this property was “occupied” by the russian Red Cross,” he said.

According to the ombudsman, he addressed the International Federation with a letter in which he asked to explain the “occupation” of the property of the Red Cross Society in Ukraine by the russians and its transfer to the russian Red Cross.

“As of today, I have not received an answer. I can conclude that russia’s financial contributions to the International Federation of Red Cross and Red Crescent Societies are more valuable than the very values of the organization” – noted Lubinets.
