The Ukrainian Armed Forces have warned that russian invaders could prepare a provocation at the Zaporizhzhia Nuclear Power Plant.

“The Armed Forces of Ukraine officially report that a provocation could be prepared in the near future at the territory of the Zaporizhzhia Nuclear Power Plant, which has been occupied by russian terrorists since March 4, 2022,” the message reads.

According to operational data, on Tuesday, July 4, invaders placed foreign objects similar to explosive devices on the external roof of the station’s third and fourth power units. The detonation of such devices may be used to create a picture of the shelling by Ukraine.

The russians already started spreading disinformation on social media that Ukraine may attack the Zaporizhzhia Nuclear Power Plant with drones on the night of July 4 to July 5.
