Denmark’s JYSK Ukraine intends to open a dozen new Ukrainian outlets between September 2019 and August 2020 as the furniture giant continues to expand in the country amid robust annual sales growth of 23.6%.

The Scandinavian brand opened 12 new Ukraine stores during the past year to bring the total to 54 outlets in 25 Ukrainian cities located across the country. According to Jysk representatives in Ukraine, recent sales growth has resulted in a sharp rise in the company’s tax contributions, which climbed by a third to UAH 200 million over the past fiscal year.
