Germany’s Federal Prosecutor’s Office has detained one Romanian and one Ukrainian citizen on suspicion of espionage on behalf of russian intelligence, according to a press release.
According to the prosecutor’s office, the accused were gathering information and filming an individual who supplies drones and components to Ukraine.
These actions are believed to have been preparation for further covert operations against this individual, the press release stated.
