A survey conducted by the “Rating” sociological group for the Center for Insights in Survey Research (CISR), a public opinion research arm of the International Republican Institute (IRI), from July 22-27 reveals that a majority of Ukrainians anticipate the war concluding within the next one to two years. Furthermore, an overwhelming 80% of respondents are confident in Ukraine’s victory.
This confidence is detailed in the responses: 51% answered “definitely yes, while 29% responded “likely yes.” On the other hand, 11% said “likely no” and 5% said “definitely no.”
Concerning the duration of the conflict, 35% of those surveyed foresee an end within 1-2 years, followed by 24% who predict under a year. Smaller proportions believe it will last longer: 15% said 3-4 years, 12% said five or more years, and 5% responded that it would “never” end.
