In September-October, the Security Service of Ukraine (SBU) blocked the activities of the anti-Ukrainian online propagandists who had been acting in the interests of the russian Federation.
“Security operatives exposed nine pro-russian propagandists in Odesa, Kyiv, and Severodonetsk. The criminals, who were funded by russian intelligence, were posting political news sent from russia and called for the actions of disobedience and mass riots. In particular, kremlin news agents called for overthrowing of the constitutional system and the government in our country, as well as for support of the terrorist from “DPR/LNR,” the SBU press service said.
According to the plan of russian curators, propagandists were supposed to influence the course of the upcoming presidential elections in Ukraine by manipulating the public opinion of Internet users.
