Prosecutors recorded 71,147 war crimes committed by ruscists in Ukraine

71,147 war crimes were recorded over the past year, Yuriy Bielousov, Head of the Department for Combating Crimes Committed in Conditions of Armed Conflict of the Prosecutor General’s Office, was cited as saying by ukrinform.net.

This is a wide range, starting from strikes on civilian objects, ending with sexual violence, murder of our citizens, torture and other types of war crimes, Bielousov said.

210 prosecutors in Ukraine are investigating war crimes committed by the russian Federation. Representatives of other departments of the prosecutor’s office should be involved in this process as there are more than 70,000 war crimes, Bielousov noted.
