In Mariupol, residents are suffering from hunger, Liudmyla Denisova, Ukrainian human rights commissioner, wrote on Facebook.

“According to the UN, more than 100,000 civilians suffer from water and food shortages. For more than a month of siege of the city, the racists did not allow any humanitarian convoys with food and medicine from Ukraine or international organizations,” she informed.

At the same time, the humanitarian aid of the russian Federation, widely advertised in the media of the occupier, includes only a loaf of bread and a bottle of water per day. The distribution of products takes place in the headquarters of “united russia”, but it is catastrophically lacking.

“The situation with medical care is getting worse every day – unsanitary conditions are spreading and staying in damp cold basements causes infectious and cold diseases. It is impossible to get medical help in the city, ” – the statement says.

“From Monday, the city will be prohibited from moving and even staying on the street without special permits. Hundreds of citizens have to stand in line to get them, because otherwise it will be impossible to get even a meager ration of bread,” Denisova informed.

The racists are destroying the people of Mariupol by all possible means, turning the city into hell, she strwssed.

“Such actions of the russian Federation are genocide of the Ukrainian people in accordance with the Convention on the Prevention and Punishment of the Crime of Genocide and Article 6 of the Rome Statute of the International Criminal Court.

I appeal to the UN Commission for Investigation Human Rights Violations during russia’s military invasion of Ukraine to take into account these facts of russia’s commission of the crime of genocide and human rights violations in Ukraine,” – human rights commissioner wrote.

As reported earlier, russians damaged 324 hospitals in Ukraine.
