Hundreds of civilians killed by russians in Chernihiv region only – report

Among those killed by the invaders are 334 men, 122 women, and 22 children, the statement said. The majority of people were killed as a result of artillery shelling and air strikes. Some were killed in their vehicles attacked by the russians, and some were shot dead by the invasion forces.

A total of 1,263 criminal proceedings have been initiated in connection to these and other crimes committed by the servicemen of the invading army. Particularly, 866 proceedings were launched under Art. 438 of the Criminal Code [violation of laws and customs of war], and 349 under Art. 110 [encroachment on the territorial integrity and inviolability of Ukraine].
