The European Court of Human Rights is considering about 10,500 cases against Ukraine, of which almost 8,000 cases concern the consequences of the russian aggression in Crimea and Donbas.

“Currently, the ECHR is considering about 10,500 cases against Ukraine, of which about 8,000 cases concern the russian aggression in Crimea and eastern Ukraine. That is, the total number of cases against Ukraine, not related to the war, is 2,500,” Ivan Lishchyna, Deputy Minister of Justice of Ukraine – Government Commissioner for the European Court of Human Rights, posted on Facebook.

On January 14, the European Court of Human Rights upheld Ukraine’s lawsuit against russia over human rights violations in the occupied Crimea.
