The issue of imposing a ban on the sale of russian agricultural products on the territory of the European Union is raised by Ukraine, Vsevolod Chentsov, Ukraine’s Permanent Representative to the EU, was cited as saying by radiosvoboda.org.

“In the context of recent events, we raised this issue even more acutely, that it is unacceptable when Polish farmers are fighting with Ukrainian products at a time when not only Poland, but the EU imports significant quantities of russian products,” he emphasized.

According to him, in this matter, Ukraine has support at the level of EU member states.

“I won’t go into the details now, but of course, this can be a very important element of solving the problem. If russian exports are banned, the tension and burden on manufacturers here in the EU will be immediately reduced,” he said.
