Law enforcement officers discovered 18 places where the russian invaders tortured Ukrainian citizens in the Kharkiv region, Deputy Chief of the Main Investigative Department of the National Police, Serhiy Panteleev said during a briefing at the Military Media Center.

“During the investigation of the liberated settlements, the police found 18 places where the russians illegally detained and tortured our citizens. The premises of these torture centers have already been inspected, evidence of war crimes has been recorded and collected,” he said.

According to the official, the National Police created a register of russian soldiers who tortured people in the Kharkiv region. There are already more than a thousand people in the register, whose identities are definitely known to Ukrainian law enforcement officers.
