The West’s attempts to retreat in order to avoid World War III are a dead end, because World War III has already begun and must be stopped on the battlefield. This opinion was expressed by former Lithuanian President Dalia Grybauskaite, delfi.lt reported.

She stressed that this war is not only against Ukraine, it is also against the whole democratic world, against the security architecture established after the Second World War.

“If we retreat and allow the aggressor to sit on our heads, he will climb and change the whole order, the consequences will be bad, we will not cope with them,” she said.

Grybauskaite called on the West to “dare” to confront and accept the challenge posed by the aggressor country – russia.
