Ukraine’s state debt grew by almost $2 bln in one month

As of June 30, 2019, Ukraine’s state and government-guaranteed debt amounted to USD 80.35 billion, or UAH 2,102.41 billion, the Finance Ministry has reported, writes Ukrinform.

“As of June 30, 2019, the state and government-guaranteed debt of Ukraine amounted to UAH 2,102.41 billion or USD 80.35 billion, including the state and government-guaranteed external debt in the amount of UAH 1,309.33 billion (62.28% of the total sum of the state and government-guaranteed debt) or USD 50.04 billion, and the state and government-guaranteed domestic debt in the amount of UAH 793.08 billion (37.72%) or USD 30.31 billion,” reads the report.

The Finance Ministry noted that in June 2019, the state and government-guaranteed debt of Ukraine decreased by UAH 4.15 billion in the hryvnia equivalent, and increased by USD 1.96 billion in the dollar equivalent.

As reported, the state and government-guaranteed debt of Ukraine as of May 31, 2019 amounted to USD 78.39 billion, or UAH 2,106.49 billion.
