“While the war continues, and russia destroys the Ukrainian people, the participation of russian and belarusian athletes will look like supporting the war and pacifying the aggressor.

The parliament appealed not only to the IOC, but also to the parliaments of the world, the national Olympic committees of the countries of the world and international sports federations with a call to ban the participation of athletes from these two countries until the end of the armed aggression against Ukraine,” , Ukrainian MP Oleksiy Honcharenko said in a statement.

I would like to note separately that these athletes also actively support putin, and participate in kremlin Z-concerts, he added.
