The russian Defense Ministry said that warning shots were fired at the British air-defense destroyers Defender, while the British Defense Ministry denied this information.
At the same time, the British Ministry of Defense commented on the incident with the destroyer off the coast of the occupied Crimea as follows: “No warning shots have been fired at HMS Defender.
