UA Army destroyed 17 battalion tactical groups out of 90 that russia used in Ukraine

As of May, the Armed Forces of Ukraine had destroyed 17 of the 90 russian battalion tactical groups involved in the war with Ukraine, Oleksandr Motuzyanyk, a spokesman for the Ministry of Defense, said in a statement, ukrinform.net reported.

“russia threw almost 170,000 manpower into the war with Ukraine. In total, more than 90 battalion tactical groups have been deployed, and by the way, about 30 more can be deployed by russia in a month and a half or two,” Motuzyanyk said.

A spokesman for the Defense Ministry noted that the most active phase of russia’s full-scale armed aggression against Ukraine is underway.
