Twitter is shadowbanning accounts of Ukrainians who tell the world about the blowing up of the Kakhovka HPP by the russian military, liga.net reported, citing volunteers and activists.

A shadow ban means that account can no longer be found through Twitter search, and its posts are shown to fewer people by the social network. This does not allow sharing information about what is currently happening in the Kherson region and attracting a larger audience.

Among those who have been sanctioned by the social network are both star accounts with thousands of followers, like the account of the singer Jamala, and accounts of ordinary users who have less than 100 followers.

Later, one of the users who has a foreign Twitter account found out that these accounts are hidden only from users abroad. In Ukraine, they can still be seen in the search.
