US President Trump confirmed on Friday that his administration has sent an ultimatum to Ukraine to agree to the 28-point plan to end russia’s war against Ukraine.
“I’ve had a lot of deadlines … but Thursday is it,” Trump said in an interview with Fox News.
Most of the ideas in the 28-point plan can only be seen as clear concessions to russia that Ukraine is expected to pay for.
According to a draft of the plan seen by cnn.com, the plan includes cession of territory to russia as well as US recognition of Crimea and other occupied Ukrainian territory as russian. Ukraine would also be forced to limit the size of its military.
