Counterintelligence of the SBU [Security Service of Ukraine – UT], together with law enforcement agencies of the Republic of Poland, uncovered the activities of a group of individuals who, on behalf of russia, organized a series of anti-Ukrainian rallies in Poland during 2025–2026.
The report concerns five fake “protests” inspired and funded by the kremlin in Warsaw and Wrocław. As law enforcement found out, the organizers of the contracted rallies offered $100–$200 for one-time participation in the crowd.
Based on the results of an international investigation by the SBU and the Internal Security Agency of the Republic of Poland, 11 individuals involved in the paid actions were identified in the territory of the EU. Among them were 2 Belarusian citizens and 9 Ukrainian citizens who were in the territory of the European Union and were involved in organizing the events.
At the direction of moscow-based coordinators, the organizers recruited potential participants for the paid “rallies,” instructed them, provided provocative agitational materials, and paid them in cash for their participation.
The street “protests” organized by russia in European cities were aimed at discrediting Ukraine on the international stage and destabilizing the socio-political situation in the EU countries.
All of the exposed individuals have now been deported to their countries of origin. The actions of the individuals from Ukraine will be assessed legally depending on each person’s degree of guilt.
