Ukrainian Ambassador to Turkey Vasyl Bodnar said that russia has stolen 500,000 tons of grain from the temporarily occupied Kherson and Zaporizhzhia regions. According to him, the occupiers transport the grain by a dozen of russian and Syrian ships, qha.com.tr reported.

“We have information that more than 500 thousand tons of grain have been stolen so far [by russia – UT]. Grains are transported by about ten ships with russian and Syrian flags. These grains were transported to Syria, Lebanon, Egypt, and some ports of Turkey,” the ambassador said.

According to Bodnar, russia steals the grain stored in the occupied Kherson and Zaporizhzhia regions and sends it to third countries via two ports in occupied Crimea.

“We report this information to the relevant institutions of foreign countries and expect the necessary response,” he stressed.
