The Ministry of Defense of the russian Federation claimed that their patrol ship opened a warning fire in the direction of the vessel Sukru Okan under the flag of Palau heading to Izmail. The occupiers also reported that an inspection group landed on the cargo ship by helicopter.

But according to the international volunteer community InformNapalm, russians lied about the successful inspection of the ship Sukru Okan.

“According to objective information provided by the sailors of one of the ships who observed this event from a distance, the Ministry of Defense of the russian Federation lied about the successful inspection of the ship. As the sailors indicated, the ship Sukru Okan did not obey the demands of the russians to stop, but simply temporarily changed its course in the direction of the coast, the territorial waters of Turkey. There was no helicopter and no warning shots either. There were only threats from the russians on the radio.

A Turkish crew “didn’t give a *uck” about the threats and did not obey,” the message reads.
