russia has lost half of its ability to spy in Europe since the full-scale invasion of Ukraine, Richard Moore, the chief of Britain’s foreign intelligence service MI6, was cited as saying by cnn.com.
Following the invasion, European countries expelled more than 400 russian intelligence officers across Europe and arrested several deep-cover spies, Moore said. russia is losing steam in its invasion of Ukraine, he added.
According to Moore, the russians will increasingly find it difficult to supply manpower over the next few weeks and the Ukrainians might use the pause to strike back. Their morale is still high, he said.
