“Make russia small again”. Lithuanian athlete disqualified from the World Championships because of her T-shirt

Lithuanian athlete Kornelija Dūdaitė was disqualified from the Functional Fitness World Championships in Hungary because of a T-shirt with the slogan ‘Make russia small again’, lrt.lt reported.
The athlete noted that her team came to the competition knowing about the participation of russian athletes, who would compete under a neutral flag. “We, as Lithuanian representatives, went to these competitions knowing that russian athletes would participate. We were told that they would compete as neutrals. We have already experienced what such neutral russian athletes mean,” Dūdaitė said.
“When we arrived in Hungary, the organizers congratulated the russians and showed how happy they were with their participation. It seemed wrong to me. I don’t think that an aggressor country can be welcomed anywhere at all,” she stressed.
After Dudaitė’s disqualification, the entire Lithuanian team withdrew from the competition.
