Canada imposed sanctions on Patriarch of moscow Kirill [Vladimir Mikhailovich GUNDYAYEV] and Foreign Ministry spokeswoman Maria Zakharova among 21 russian nationals.
The sanctions list also includes Interior Ministry spokeswoman Irina Volk, former Yandex CEO Tigran Khudaverdyan, cooperation agency Rossotrudnichestvo, and dozens of media personalities.
Roskomnadzor [Federal Service for Supervision of Communications] and REGNUM news agency are also on the list.
