Seven people were killed and several injured in russian missile strikes on the western Ukrainian city of Lviv on Monday morning, local Ukrainian authorities said, shattering the calm in a place that had remained mostly unharmed in the war, writes wsj.com.

According to Ukraine’s Air Command West, four missiles hit Lviv this morning, ukrinform.net reports. Three of them struck military infrastructure and one hit a tyre fitting service. A fire broke out. The facilities were severely damaged.

Several missiles strikes were recorded near the main railway station in Lviv. There are no casualties among passengers and railway workers.

As reported, yesterday russians shelled Kharkiv downtown.5 people were killed, and 13 were injured.
