A woman in the Kharkiv region died, covering her four-year-old daughter, the police of the Kharkiv region reported.

“The Zolochiv community was destroyed, where a woman died as a result of shelling of a residential area. She covered her 4-year-old daughter with her body and thereby saved her life. The child and her husband were injured,” the report said.

“The aggressor is doing everything to break the spirit of the Ukrainians. The enemy is cunningly attacking peaceful villages and cities at night, using aircraft and rocket launchers. But the love of the Ukrainian people for a free and independent Ukraine cannot be broken,” the police added.
