Ukrainians gathered in central Kyiv on Sunday to show gratitude for all the international help and support amid the threat of the russian invasion. The action was held under the hashtag #ThanksFriends.

“We have real friends in the international arena who help Ukraine with weapons when russia threatens us with a new invasion. We thank the United Kingdom, the United States, Canada, Lithuania, Latvia, Estonia, Poland, the Czech Republic, and Turkey for a clear pro-Ukrainian position and support,” the organizers said.

Ukrainians also came to show that they disagree with and don’t support the words and attitude of the current Ukrainian president, Volodymyr Zelensky, towards the international community with a hashtag #SorryFriendsForZelensky
