Ukraine and Turkey to create “strategic alliance”

Ukraine and Turkey have reached the level of partnership, which allows discussing the creation of a strategic alliance between the two countries in the defense industry.

Ukraine’s Deputy Prime Minister and Minister for Strategic Industries Oleh Urusky said this in an exclusive comment to Ukrinform following a meeting with President of Turkey Recep Tayyip Erdoğan on August 27.

“We have reached such a level of strategic partnership that now we can talk about a strategic alliance of our defense and industrial sectors and industries, which is directed not against third countries, but for the benefit and prospects of our peoples. We have all the prerequisites for this, we complement each other,” Urusky said.
