As mentioned during the official ceremony, the visit will last two days. It is planned to hold over 60 meetings with representatives of Ukrainian businesses.

Ukraine had in recent years abolished over 14,000 obsolete standards, as well as planned to introduce European standards (1,500 per year), which should significantly improve the in the country.

According to U.S. Ambassador to Ukraine Marie Yovanovitch, the mission is the first in the past 10 years, which confirms the relations between the two countries are moving in the right direction.
