Share of NPLs in Ukraine banking sector decreased to 32.7%

As of November 1, the share of non-performing loans (NPL) in the Ukrainian banking sector decreased to 32.7% against 33.3% on October 1, the press service of the National Bank of Ukraine (NBU) wrote in a Telegram post.

Since the start of the year, the share of NPLs decreased by 8.4 percentage points (UAH 58.2 billion in absolute terms) and took place in banks of all groups.

In March 2021, the NBU began to publish monthly statistics on the distribution of NPLs granted to enterprises in national and foreign currencies, by size of business entity and type of economic activity.
