russians want to mobilize even women in occupied territories

russia is conducting covert mobilization in the temporarily occupied Ukrainian territories, and even women are planned to be drafted into the russian armed forces, Ukrainian Parliament Commissioner for Human Rights Liudmyla Denisova said.
In turn, as part of the mobilization, the occupiers informed the management of the ORLO [temporarily uncontrolled districts of Luhansk region] that it was necessary to “verify the data” of women aged 18 to 45 who have the following specialties: accountant, cook, nurse, laboratory assistant, driver, cleaner.
Forced mobilization is prohibited by international humanitarian law, Article 51 IV of the Geneva Convention relative to the Protection of Civilian Persons in Time of War.
I appeal to the UN Commission for Investigation Human Rights Violations during russia’s military invasion of Ukraine to take into account this fact of russia’s human rights violations in Ukraine,” according to the statement.
