In two villages of the Melitopol district in Zaporizhia region, russian troops demand shop owners to switch to the russian ruble, the Zaporizhia Regional Military Administration said in a statement.

“The russian occupiers demand that local entrepreneurs in the villages of Botieve and Strohanivka reopen their shops, cafes, and other catering and entertainment facilities. One of the conditions for their safe operation is abandoning Ukrainian goods,” the statement reads.

At the same time, shop owners are urged to sell goods produced in the occupied Crimea, as well as start introducing a ‘ruble zone.’
