russian Roscosmos decided to withdraw from the International Space Station (ISS) project after 2024. This was announced by the newly appointed head of Roscosmos Yury Borisov, russian media reported.

“You know that we conduct work within the framework of international cooperation on the International Space Station. Of course, we will fulfill all our obligations to our partners, but the decision and departure from this station after 2024 has been made,” Borisov said.

He also noted that by this time Roskosmos will start “forming the russian orbital station”.
