One of the most visited museums in the world, the Metropolitan Museum of Art in New York, this week changed the description about the three famous artists – Ilya Ripyn [Repin in russian], Ivan Aivazovsky, and Arkhip Kuindzhi.

The museum also changed the description under the famous painting by the French artist Edgar Degas – “russian Dancers” became “Dancers in Ukrainian Clothes.”

Ukrainian artists, representatives of museums and diplomats fought for these changes for a very long time.
