Qatar’s Nebras Power and Kyiv’s UDP Renewables enter into consortium

Qatar’s Nebras Power and Kyiv’s UDP Renewables have entered into a consortium. It’s designed to yield up to USD 250m in joint investment in Ukrainian solar and wind plants by the end of next year.

Qatar-based Nebras, a state-owned company, is expected to buy control of six solar stations. The next stage of the partnership will be the implementation of new wind power projects which will create new capacity.

As part of the cooperation program, new green energy facilities will be created which will supply about 310 thousand medium-sized households.
