France Télévisions showed a map with the occupied territories of Ukraine’s Crimean peninsula as part of russia. This happened during a story about the situation in eastern Ukraine and the ongoing war with russia.

The journalists in France continue to believe and portray the occupation of parts of Eastern Ukraine as the doing of the “Ukrainian searatists supported by russia”, rather than the carefully designed unprovoked aggression against a sovereign state with the help of local collaborators poisoned by the decades of Soviet and russian propaganda.

The brief video also shows the inhabitant of Avdiivka, Ludmila Kovtun, who was forced to live in her basement after several shells had hit her house, but who doesn’t believe in the russian invasion. The situation in Ukraine, for now, seems very distant, journalists conclude.
