5% of parking spaces, that will be designed in the Ukraine, must be equipped with chargers for electric cars with plans to expand this figure to 100% by 2030, wrote Lev Partskhaladze, Deputy Minister of Regional Development, Construction and Housing of Ukraine on Facebook.
“In the span of the next 5-10 years, the global community will entirely switch to electric cars. This will not happen at once, we need to begin preparing now. Therefore, the updated State Building Code mandates that a minimum of 5% of parking spaces across all parking lots that are currently designed now must be equipped with chargers,” – he said.
As reported earlier, Uber on March 21 rolled out an eco-friendly taxi service in Kyiv.
