The russian occupiers are still temporarily in Nova Kakhovka, the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine said in a statement.

“The occupiers are still temporarily in Nova Kakhovka. The information about the alleged withdrawal of the enemy from this settlement was made public as a result of the incorrect use of available data,” the message says.

Earlier, the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine reported that all units of the occupier’s army that were stationed in Nova Kakhovka left the city.

The withdrawal was preceded by looting. The occupiers “confiscated” large quantities of household and electronic appliances, jewelry, items of clothing, and mobile phones from the civilian population, according to the previous report.

In a number of settlements of the temporarily captured left-bank part of the Kherson region, the invaders began searching for citizens with a pro-Ukrainian position, the report said.
