Ukraine signs agreement to purchase Turkish combat UAVs

An agreement on the purchase of Bayraktar TB2 Turkish combat UAVs for Ukrainian troops has been signed, reports Ukrinform.

“As we arranged with President of Turkey Recep Tayyip Erdogan, an agreement on the purchase of Bayraktar TB2 Turkish combat UAVs for Ukrainian troops has been signed,” President of Ukraine Petro Poroshenko posted on Facebook.

As Poroshenko noted, these cutting edge tactical unmanned aerial vehicles, apart from high-tech characteristics, can also be equipped with modern high-precision missile armament to destroy armored vehicles, fortified and engineering structures and naval targets.
