“Yes, this is a difficult situation. For a year now, we have been waging war against a country that is large in size, but not in intelligence. We knew it would be difficult for us,” Oleksiy Danilov, Secretary of Ukraine’s National Security and Defense Council, was cited as saying by prm.ua. But, according to him, the article “does not correspond to reality at all.”At the same time, Danilov noted that it helps push “scenarios beneficial to the russian Federation,” like a “peaceful settlement” through the partition of Ukraine.
