The UA army is already using M777A2 howitzers in combat, which the United States, Canada and Australia have provided as military aid.
Judging from photos from the web, the UA army is using M549 projectiles, which were signed: “For Irpin”, “For Bucha”, “For Boyarka”. The shells themselves have clearly visible markings, which made it possible to determine the type of ammunition.
The range of the 155-millimeter projectiles M549 is about 30 km, which will allow the Ukrainian Army to gain an advantage in the range of fire over the enemy, as the range of the most widespread russian artillery system “Msta” is only 24.7 km.
